- Scientific and methodological assistance in meteorology, production units of RSE "Kazhydromet";
- Provision of meteorological information for various sectors of the economy (civil and industrial construction; energy, oil industry, metallurgy, agriculture, etc.);
- Preparation of an annual bulletin for monitoring the state and climate change of Kazakhstan. Sections: "Snow cover", "Wind", "Duration of sunshine";
- Studies of adverse meteorological conditions in cities of Kazakhstan;
- Development of a drought forecasting methodology.
