The results of the content of benz (a)pyrene for June 30, 2021 showed concentrations below the MPC

RSE "Kazhydromet" regularly conducts sampling and analysis of atmospheric air samples in Almaty to determine the content of benz (a) pyrene. Benz (a)pyrene in large cities is allocated mainly by road transport.
The results of sampling and analysis of atmospheric air samples in Almaty to determine the content of benz (a)pyrene for June 30, 2021 showed concentrations below the MPC (the average daily MPC in the air of populated areas = 0.001 micrograms/m3).
Sampling was carried out at the following 5 points:
- Amangeldy Street, corner of Satpayev Street;
- pr. Raiymbek, corner of Nauryzbai Batyr street;
- mkr. Ainabulak-3;
- mkr. Aksay-3, Marechek Street, corner of B. Momyshuly Street;
- mkr. Tastak-1, 249 Tole bi str.
The actual concentrations of benz (a)pyrene were 0.0000-0.0004 micrograms/m3.
