RSE "Kazhydromet" offers condolences to the family and friends of Adilov Tolebay Agzhigitovich

The staff of Kazhydromet brings its condolences to the family and relatives of Adilov Tolebay Agzhigitovich.

Tolebai Agzhigitovich was born on April 10, 1959 in Kokshetau. He started his career as a simple chemistry teacher.
He has been working in the environmental protection system since 1991. He worked his way up from ordinary to senior positions of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As an employee of the Ministry, he actively participated in the development of the draft Environmental Code of 2007.

He worked on low-carbon planning issues in the cities of Astana, Shymkent, Taraz, Aktobe, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Temirtau. Participated in the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol and attracting investment in low-carbon projects.

He defended Kazakhstan's interests in the environment in the United Nations Development Program as a national expert on low-carbon development and capacity-building of the industry.

In the last years of his life, as a public figure, he was actively engaged in environmental issues, working in the Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan, is one of the developers of the New Environmental Code of 2020.

His contribution to the development of ecology is invaluable, for which he was awarded a Certificate of Honor by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and medals: "30 years of environmental service", "20 years of Independence of Kazakhstan" and "10 years of Astana".

Tolebay Agzhigitovich will forever remain in the memory of colleagues as a conscientious, responsible and responsive person. His invaluable experience in the field of ecology will be an example for the future younger generation of like-minded people.
