On August 6, 1 case of exceeding the concentration of suspended particles of RM-2.5 within 1.0 MPC was recorded in Atyrau.

Earlier it was reported that since August 1, 2021, the Branch of the RSE "Kazhydromet" in the Atyrau region performs an unscheduled expedition trip to measure the quality of atmospheric air in Atyrau in the areas nearby to the industrial zone.
Sampling and analysis of atmospheric air samples is carried out in the areas of Peretask from the zapalnaya side of the industrial zone of ANPZ LLP and in the area of the Atyrau-Dossor highway (Tendyk village). The concentrations of suspended particles PM-2.5, PM-10, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, benzene, and hydrocarbons are measured.
According to the results of unscheduled sampling and analysis of atmospheric air samples, on August 6, 2021, 1 case of exceeding the concentration of suspended particles PM-2.5 within 1.0 MPC was recorded.
