Another heat wave occurred in the first half of the third decade, when the air temperature rose to +34+44°C throughout Kazakhstan, so in Turkestan on July 25 it was +44.1°C, this indicator exceeded the previous record of this day in 2017 (+42.5°C).
Also, on some days of July, the records of minimum air temperatures were updated, which were recorded in the middle of the second decade and at the end of the month in the north, north-west and in the center of Kazakhstan. At the Akzhol meteorological station (Pavlodar region) a squall with a wind speed of 36 m/s, lasting 6 minutes, was recorded.
In the capital, Nur-Sultan, in 2021, the highest air temperature was recorded on July 4, the thermometer columns reached +37.8°C, which exceeded the previous record of this day in 1997, when the air temperature was +37.5°C.
