On September 29, 2021, no cases of exceeding the MPC were recorded in Atyrau

Earlier it was reported that since August 1, 2021, the Branch of RSE "Kazhydromet" in Atyrau region performs an unscheduled expedition to measure the quality of the atmospheric air of Atyrau in the areas adjacent to the industrial zone.
Sampling and analysis of atmospheric air samples is carried out in the areas of Peretask on the western side of the industrial zone of ANPZ LLP and in the area of the Atyrau-Dossor highway (Tendyk village). Concentrations of suspended particles PM-2.5, PM-10, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, benzene, and hydrocarbons are measured.
According to the results of unscheduled sampling and analysis of atmospheric air samples on September 29, 2021, no cases of exceeding the MPC were recorded.
The wind speed was 6 m/s, north, north-east wind direction.
