Published 23.10.2021 In the areas of winter wheat cultivation in the south and south-east of Kazakhstan, there was a decrease in air temperature at night to minus 8C, in mountainous areas to minus 12C, precipitation fell only in mountainous and foothill areas of the Almaty region. Such meteorological conditions somewhat hindered the preparation of fields (the soil is dry) and the sowing of winter wheat in the southern regions. In the early winter wheat crops in Almaty and Zhambyl regions, the phase of "grain germination" is noted. The quality of the crops is good and excellent.
In the observed areas in the East Kazakhstan region, sunflower harvesting continues, the phase of development "harvest ripeness". The condition of the plants is excellent and good.
In the vicinity of Taldykorgan stations in Almaty region, sugar beet harvesting has begun, in Zhambyl region, beetroot has entered a phase of "yellowing of the lower outer leaves", the condition of plants is everywhere good.
