Brief agrometeorological review for the 3rd decade of October 2021

In the areas of winter grain crops cultivation in the south and south-east of Kazakhstan, moderately warm weather was observed, with precipitation for 1-3 days and frosts at night up to minus 8C. Such meteorological conditions were less favorable for the preparation of fields and the completion of sowing of winter wheat and barley.
At the observed sites in Almaty and Zhambyl regions, where sowing operations are continuing, the condition of winter wheat is excellent and good everywhere, winter barley is satisfactory. The phase of development "germination of grain" - "shoots", in some areas around the stations of Kordai Zhambyl region "3rd leaf".
In the vicinity of the agricultural posts of Georgievka and Saratovka in the East Kazakhstan region, harvesting of sunflower seeds continues, precipitation has somewhat slowed down the course of harvesting, the condition of the plants is good.
The condition of cotton on crops in the Turkestan region is excellent everywhere, the development phase is "maturation of the 1st box raw", harvesting continues.
On the landings around the agropost of Darinsk in the West Kazakhstan region, cabbage harvesting has begun, the condition of the plants is good.
