Also, on some days of October, records of maximum air temperatures were updated, which were recorded at the end of the second and third decades in the far north, northeast and east of Kazakhstan. In addition, in October, in addition to temperature records, adverse weather conditions were observed, such as strong wind, heavy rain, snow, and frost. Often during the first, at the beginning of the second and third decades at the Dostyk meteorological station (Almaty region) the wind speed reached 30-41 m/s, which corresponds to the criteria of natural hydrometeorological phenomena. On October 02, a very heavy snow of 21.1 mm was observed at the Markakol meteorological station (East Kazakhstan region) (with a monthly norm of 46 mm), on October 01-02, frosts were observed up to 1....5 °C in Kyzylorda, on October 01-02 up to 1....4 °C in Atyrau, on October 03 frosts were recorded up to 1....5 °C in Zhambyl, up to 1....11 °C in Almaty region.
In the city of Nur-Sultan, the warmest day was October 20, on this day the thermometer columns rose to +16.5 ° C, and the coldest was October 07, at night the air temperature dropped to -7.4 °C. The amount of precipitation was 23 mm (with a monthly norm of -27 mm).
