In this connection, the optimal timing of sowing of spring grain crops is predicted as follows:
in Kostanay, Akmola, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan regions in the first and second decades of May;
in the Karaganda and East Kazakhstan regions in the first and second decades of May, in the Urzhar district of East Kazakhstan region in late April,
in the southern regions in mid-March and early April, in the foothill areas in early May.
