Precipitation, compared with April, increases in May in the northern half of Kazakhstan, in mountainous and foothill areas of the south and south-east of the country.
On the first day of May, in most parts of the republic, the summer hot weather will remain up to +20 +28 ° C, in the south up to +33 ° C. And in the north-western part of the republic, with the passage of cold atmospheric fronts, rains are expected, sometimes strong, with gusty winds, a squall, hail and a decrease in air temperature are possible. In the future, such weather is expected in the rest of Kazakhstan.
In the first half of the month, with the alternation of cyclones and anticyclones, unstable weather patterns and fluctuations in air temperature are predicted:
- in the west of the republic at night from +3+13 ° C, in the north of the region frosts are 3 °C to +8+15 ° C, during the day from +10+20 °C to +18+25°C;

In the second half of the month, with the intensive removal of warm air masses from the regions of Iran, a gradual increase in air temperature is predicted: in the northern half of the republic to +25 +35 ° C, in the southern half the thermometer columns will reach +30 +35 ° C, in the extreme south and southwest to +40 ° C.
On some days of the second half of May, with the passage of atmospheric fronts, rains with thunderstorms are expected, a slight decrease in heat - in the afternoon to +20 +25 ° C. In the southern regions, short-term rains and thunderstorms are also predicted, but the temperature background is expected to be mostly elevated.
