Conference dedicated to the level of the Caspian Sea

On July 5, 2022, an international conference "Fluctuation of the Caspian Sea level, forecasts and measures for adaptation to climate change" was held in Baku, Azerbaijan. The event was attended by international organizations (UNDP, UNDP, Human Habitat) and hydrometeorological services of the Caspian countries. Kazakhstan was represented at the event by specialists of RSE "Kazhydromet".
The main purpose of the conference is to discuss current and expected fluctuations in the Caspian Sea level, to adopt recommendations for the development of agreed regional climate change scenarios, scenarios of sea level fluctuations, as well as national and regional adaptation measures.
