In the permanent category, covering the work of regional branches, repairs and achievements for the year – a branch in the West Kazakhstan region.

In the branch of RSE "Kazhydromet" in the West Kazakhstan region, meteorological monitoring is carried out at 13 traditional meteorological stations (MS), 5 automatic AMS, 15 agrometeorological points, 22 hydrological posts. Atmospheric air monitoring is carried out at 6 environmental posts.

• In 2021, 3 MS were repaired (Uralsk, Taipak, Zhympity).
• Gasified – 11 MS.
• Transfer of the environmental monitoring station (SEM) to the village of Burlin.
• Electric heating is carried out on one MS.
• 7 hinged masts of wind measuring devices, 5 psychrometric booths, 8 sedimentation buckets, 2 Selyaninov booths were replaced.  
• 4 monoblocks are installed on the MS, all meteorological stations are provided with new computers.  
• Satellite Internet is installed on MS Urda and AMS Ankata.
• Replaced 3 VS-43 snow meters.
• 6 tablets with the ARMAN program were purchased for agrometeorological observations.
• The Integrated Laboratory for Monitoring the State of the Environment has been conducting analyses for phosphorus and phosphate since 2021.
• In 2021, a joint sampling of water with the Russian Federation was carried out along the Zhaiyk river.
• The work plan for 2021 for the production of observations and technical tasks is 100% completed.
