Since August 1, in accordance with the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, RSE "Kazhydromet" opens access to the State Climate Cadastre, which contains data from 2021. This cadastre was developed for the first time, until recently RSE "Kazhydromet" was only a hydrological cadastre, but the database of long-term observations was stored and accumulated for more than 100 years.
The State Climatic Cadastre is a systematized data set based on meteorological information about the totality of atmospheric conditions, including air temperature, cloud cover, atmospheric phenomena, wind direction and speed, precipitation and other characteristics of the atmosphere, formed on the basis of a climatic database of meteorological data.
The climate cadastre consists of three parts:
1. Meteorological monthly;
2. Meteorological yearbooks;
3. Reference books on the climate of Kazakhstan.
The data of the State climate cadastre refers to general-purpose information. By the autumn of 2022, Kazhydromet RSE will launch a platform for providing processed information for a day, a month, a year or more. Users of the climate cadastre will be able to use this information for scientific, technical and survey purposes.
Consumers of hydrometeorological information can receive data from the platform on the website of RSE "Kazhydromet" https://meteo.kazhydromet.kz/climate_kadastr /.
