Published 20.10.2022 This year, RSE "Kazhydromet" acquired 12 compact automatic monitoring stations for atmospheric air quality. New posts have been established in Atyrau region in the cities of Atyrau and Kulsary, as well as in the East Kazakhstan region, Ridder.
Automatic stations measure atmospheric air pollution by the following chemicals: suspended particles PM-2,5 and PM-10 (fine dust), nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, hydrogen sulfide. The readings are reflected in the Air mobile app.KZ and on the interactive map http://ecodata.kz:3838/app_dem_visual /
In Ridder, two air monitoring points conducted manual sampling – the readings were updated several times a day and only on working days. With the help of new stations, the results are reflected hourly every day.
