On October 18-19, Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic hosted a two-day Regional seminar on the development of an Air Quality Index (EQIQ) to inform the countries of Central Asia.
The organizers of the seminar are the U.S. Department of State, MoveGreen and the United Nations Environment Program. Such meetings are active practical events consisting of discussions in small groups and training seminars, which result in innovative solutions to real problems. These seminars, led by participants, will allow sharing best practices and challenges with colleagues working in the field of air quality, as well as with experts from Central Asia and around the world.
Representatives of the Kazakh side – specialists of the RSE "Kazhydromet" had the opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of international experts in the field of atmospheric air monitoring and get practical recommendations on working with ICS.
