Published 22.10.2022 In the areas of winter wheat cultivation in the south and south-east of Kazakhstan, there was a decrease in air temperature, freezing at night to minus 1-5C, in mountainous and foothill areas to minus 7C and short-term precipitation. Such meteorological conditions somewhat hindered the preparation of fields and the sowing of winter wheat in the southern regions. In the early winter wheat crops in Almaty and Zhambyl regions, the phase of "grain germination" is noted. The condition of the crops is mostly excellent and good.
The condition of thermophilic crops (soybeans, cotton) is good and satisfactory, the harvesting of soybeans continues, as well as the collection of dried apricots in the Ordabasinsky district.
