Published 01.12.2022 On November 29-30, 2022, a regional workshop on the creation of the water component of the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The CAREC program is an association of 11 countries and development partners working together to collaborate on accelerated economic growth and poverty reduction.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide training within the framework of the technical assistance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on the Institutional Mechanism of the Water Component of CAREC. Participants are representatives of state institutions related to water resources. The general course of study included such topics as: "Climate-resilient and productive water supply systems", "Sustainable water resources and water supply services", as well as discussions on interrelated solutions and mutual learning between the participating countries.
