In the coming days, unstable weather is expected in most of Kazakhstan, snow is forecast, a ground blizzard, wind strengthening of 15-25 m/s, heavy snow, fog, ice is expected in the mountainous regions of the south, south-east of the country. In the west and far north of the republic, the weather will be without precipitation. Then, with another portion of the Arctic cold from the Salekhard regions, the air temperature will drop:
- in the west of the country at night up to -13-23°C, during the day up to -5-15°C;
- in the north and in the center at night up to -25-33°C, during the day up to -12-25°C;
- in the east at night to -25-37°C, in the afternoon to -17-23°C;
- in the south and south-east at night up to -10-22 ° C, during the day up to -3-13 ° C.
At the end of the first decade, a cyclone from the regions of Scandinavia will cause unstable weather, weakening of frosts in the north-western regions of the republic, then in the rest of the country.
According to the forecast, in the second and third decades of December 2022, frequent changes of weather conditions are expected in most of Kazakhstan, frosty days will alternate with warm ones, accompanied by snowfalls, blizzards and gusty winds, in the southern half of Kazakhstan precipitation is forecast mainly in the form of rain and sleet. Icy phenomena and fogs will also often be observed.
During the month, under the influence of cyclonic activity, several most intense heat waves are expected, and with the north-western incursions of anticyclones, several cold waves are expected. Thus, in December, there will often be fluctuations in air temperature, the so-called "temperature swings":
in the northern half of the republic at night from -25-35 ° C to -5-13 ° C, in the daytime from -15-25 ° C to 0,-5 ° C.
in the southern half of the republic at night from -17-23 °C to -5+2 °C, during the day from - 5-10 ° C to +3+10 °C.
In general, according to the forecast, in December, the average monthly air temperature is expected to be about normal in most of the republic, above the norm by 1 ° - in the far west, north of the country.
The amount of precipitation in December is predicted to be more than normal in most of the republic, about normal - in the center, in the south, in the southeast, in most of the east of the country.
