In the first half of the month, a predominantly positive background of air temperature was observed in most of Kazakhstan during the day: +10+16°C in the southern half, +1+8°C in the northern half. Active atmospheric fronts associated with cyclones caused precipitation weather in most of the republic throughout the month. So, for example, at some meteorological stations there was very heavy snow, which reached the criteria of natural hydrometeorological phenomena: on November 7, 8, 16 at the Shuyldak weather station (Turkestan region), the amount of precipitation was 24-28 mm, with a monthly norm of 78 mm, on November 20-21 at the Shymkent weather station - 21 m, with a norm of for a month - 61 mm.
On November 9, a very strong wind was observed up to the criteria of OHS at the Dostyk automatic weather station (AMS) (Zhetysu region), wind gusts reached 35 m/s, November 23 - 31 m/s, November 26-27 - 41 m/s, November 14-15 at the Taraz weather station, November 15 at the Nurlykent AMS (Zhambyl region) - 30 m/s, November 29 at the Zhalanashkol weather station (Zhetysu region) - 36 m/s.
But already at the end of the month, the really winter and frosty weather came to most of the republic. The air temperature in the northern half dropped at night to -28-38 ° C, which was due to the invasion of cold air masses from the Kara Sea areas. Nevertheless, no temperature records for minimum and maximum values were recorded.
In Astana in November 2022, the lowest air temperature, according to meteorological observations, was recorded on November 27 -25.9 °C, the highest air temperature - on November 4 and amounted to +8.9 °C. Precipitation for the month fell 48 mm, with a norm of 29 mm, which was 166% of the norm.
