Published 18.01.2023 Employees of the hydrometeorological services of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries, as well as representatives of COROBOR in Kazakhstan participated in the signing of an agreement on the creation of a project for the integration of hydrometeorological forecasting and maintenance data. The project is being implemented under the auspices of the World Meteorological Organization and with the support of the World Bank for the Central Asian region.
As part of the project, it is proposed to create an integrated platform with a head office in Kazakhstan on the basis of Kazhydromet RSE with remote access to all Central Asian countries. Based on the results of preparatory and test work, the data processing system will allow monitoring, managing and transmitting data and receiving hydrometeorological predictive products. The start date of the project is 2023.
