Precipitation in the south and southeast

In most parts of Kazakhstan, the unstable nature of the weather persists – in the southern and eastern regions under the influence of the Southern Cyclone trough; in the north and northwest - cyclone troughs from the Salekhard regions. Heavy precipitation is expected in the south and south-east of the country on February 09, heavy snow is expected on February 10. Ice is also expected in these regions. Fog, a grass-roots blizzard and wind strengthening are forecast for the republic. At the end of the period (closer to February 11), the spur of the Western anticyclone will shift to the southern and southeastern regions, with which a gradual cessation of precipitation and a decrease in night temperatures to 8-21 frost is expected.
