Heavy precipitation in the south

An extensive anticyclone will shape the weather in most of the republic, only the western regions will be influenced by the cyclone, which is shifting from west to east. Under the influence of frontal sections, snow will fall in some regions of the republic, precipitation in the form of rain and snow in the south and south-east of the country. On February 16-18, heavy precipitation (rain, snow) is expected in the mountainous areas of the south, southeast. Icy phenomena are expected in the southern half of the republic, fogs in mountainous and foothill areas. In the northern half of the republic, the wind will occasionally increase and a grass-roots blizzard will be observed.
