Published 17.02.2023 Under the influence of the Western Cyclone trough and atmospheric frontal sections, unstable weather is expected in most of the territory of Kazakhstan. Snow is forecast, in the south-west, south and south-east of the republic – precipitation in the form of rain and snow. On February 18, heavy precipitation (rain, snow) is expected in Zhambyl, Almaty and Zhetysu regions. Fog and wind strengthening are forecast for the republic, ice in the southern half of the country, and a snowstorm in the northern half.
