Published 23.03.2023 On March 23, 2023, the final meeting of the board of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Russian Federation was held. At the meeting of the Federal Hydrometeorological Service, the activities of the Weather Service in 2022 and the tasks for 2023 were considered. The one-day meeting was attended by representatives of the national hydrometeorological services of the WMO member countries.
Director General of RSE "Kazhydromet" Danara Alimbayeva, in her report, noted that Kazhydromet and Roshydromet have been successfully cooperating for all 30 years of independence, regularly exchange hydrometeorological and environmental data, as well as professional experience of specialists. Special attention was paid to the fact that in 2023 work was started on updating the bilateral Cooperation Program of our services.
"We highly appreciate the friendly relations and mutual understanding that have been established between us. I would like to emphasize the high level of professionalism of Roshydromet specialists and thank them for their promptness in solving all kinds of issues," Danara Alimbayeva said.
