In the East Kazakhstan and Abai regions, mainly in the second and third decades of May, in the mountainous and foothill areas of Almaty and Zhetysu regions, the beginning of sowing is predicted in the first and second decade of May.
Compliance with optimal sowing dates for spring grain crops makes it possible to use the accumulated moisture as successfully as possible in spring and in the second half of summer, when the plants' need for moisture is maximum
