Central Asian Conference on Climate Change

On May 16-17, 2023, the fifth Central Asian Conference on "Climate Change and Sustainable Development" (CACIC-2023) was held in Dushanbe, the Republic of Tajikistan. The organizers were the Regional Environmental Center of Central Asia (CAREC), together with the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan with the financial support of the World Bank.
The purpose of the conference is to promote the strengthening of regional and intersectoral dialogue, exchange of information and knowledge to support the system of climate–sustainable decision-making to ensure water, energy and food security, as well as the search for opportunities to ensure synergy in the implementation of climate projects by international financial institutions and development agencies in Central Asia.
