Kazhydromet has released a preliminary drought forecast for July

According to the preliminary forecast, in July, humidification conditions are expected mainly near the norm in most of Kazakhstan, at the same time, the area of territories with a moisture deficit will increase.
Moderate drought is expected:
in Zharkai district of Akmola region,
in Amangelda district of Kostanay region,
in Aitekebi, Irgiz and Khromtau districts of Aktobe region,
in Ulytau district of Atyrau region,
in Kzylkogin district of Atyrau region,
in Chili district of Kyzylorda region.
Severe drought is possible in the Karmakshi district of the Kyzylorda region and in the Zhangeldinsky district of the Kostanay region.
