Sunflower yield forecast for 2023

Sunflower yield forecast is being developed in Kazhydromet RSE for Kostanay, Pavlodar, Abai and East Kazakhstan regions.
According to the preliminary calculated data, sunflower yield in 2023 is expected:
- about average long-term values - in Kostanay region and in the main territory of Pavlodar region, above the norm in Shcherbaktinsky and Uspensky districts;
- above the average long-term values - in the Abai and East Kazakhstan regions (Table 1).
This forecast of sunflower yield is preliminary, in early August the final forecast will be made taking into account meteorological conditions.
