In general, the month of July turned out to be hot in almost the entire territory of Kazakhstan. The heat peaked in the western regions - at the end of the first decade, in the northern – at the beginning of the second decade, in the eastern, southeastern in the middle of the month. During this period, temperature records were recorded. So on July 08 at the weather station (hereinafter - M) Atyrau, the highest air temperature was +42.0 ° C, the last time the maximum for this day was observed in 2011. and it was +41.9 °C, on July 10 in Uralsk the maximum air temperature increased to +42.0 °C, the maximum for this day was observed in 2015 (+26.6 °C), on July 11 in Aktobe the maximum air temperature was +42.3 °C, surpassing the previous record of 2008 (+41.0 °C). Record figures were observed on Kostanay three days in a row on July 10-12, but the heat peak was recorded on July 11 – (+40.5 ° C), surpassing the previous record of 2020 (+37.0 ° C), temperature records were recorded on Petropavlovsk for four consecutive days on July 10-13, but the highest air temperature was observed on July 12 and amounted to +40.0 ° C, such a high air temperature for this day has not yet been observed in history according to meteorological observations, the last time on this day the maximum air temperature was in 1993 (+30.6 °), on the M of Pavlodar on July 12 in the afternoon the air warmed up to +38.5 ° C, surpassing the record of 1981, then on the same day the maximum air temperature was +35.0 °C, On July 12, the maximum air temperature in Kokshetau was +39.2 °C, becoming the absolute maximum for this day in the entire history of meteorological observation, the last time the highest air temperature was in 2013 (+30.5 ° C). A high background of air temperature was observed on M Zhezkazgan for three days in a row on July 11-13, the heat peak was recorded on July 13 +44.0 ° C, becoming a record for this day, the last time the highest air temperature was observed in 2015 (+39.5 ° C). On July 13, the maximum air temperature on M Taraz was +42.1 ° C, which became a record for that day, the last time on the same day the highest air temperature was recorded in 2016 (+38.1 °C). At Ust-Kamenogorsk on July 14, the maximum air temperature was +39.9 ° C, surpassing the previous record in 2013 (+34.2 °C), at Ridder on the same day, the highest air temperature was +36.5 ° C, surpassing the record of 2015 (+30.9 ° C).
In Astana, a high background of air temperature was recorded for two consecutive days on July 11-13, the heat peak fell on July 12 (+38.1 °C) and the absolute maximum of that day was blocked, the last time the peak air temperature for that day was recorded in 2013 (+32.7°C). Precipitation in most of the territory of Kazakhstan during the month fell less than normal. However, in the western regions, with the aggravation of the frontal sections, heavy rain fell - on July 16, more than a two–month norm of precipitation fell on Uralsk per day - 104 mm, with a norm of 43 mm per month, 133 mm of precipitation fell on Kamenka per day, with a norm of 26 mm per month.
In addition, a Class 5 fire hazard was often observed in most of Kazakhstan during the month.
