Published 17.08.2023 In the first decade of August, meteorological conditions throughout Kazakhstan were satisfactory for filling and ripening grain, favorable for harvesting grain crops in the west of the country.
At the observed sites in the Akmola region, the "milk" - "wax ripeness" phase is observed on spring wheat crops, in the vicinity of the Zhaltyr stations of the Astrakhan district and the Novomarkovka agropost of the Yerementau district "full ripeness". The condition of the plants is generally good and satisfactory. The height of the plants reaches 47-68 cm .
In Kostanay region, the condition of spring wheat is excellent and good, satisfactory in the vicinity of the Ken-Aral agropost of the Fedorovsky district and the Auliekol station of the Auliekol district. The development phase is "dairy" - "full ripeness". The height of the plants reaches 53-97 cm .
In the North Kazakhstan region, the condition of spring wheat is mostly excellent and good. The phase of development is "wax" - "full ripeness", on crops in the vicinity of the Bulaevo agropost – "milk-ripeness". The height of the plants reaches 50-74 cm .
In the Pavlodar region, the development phase of "waxy" – "full ripeness" is noted on spring wheat crops, and "flowering" is observed at late sowing periods. In the East Kazakhstan region, the "dairy" phase of development is marked on spring wheat crops – "full ripeness". The height of the plants is 46-63 cm .
In the Abai region, the condition of spring wheat is excellent and good, the height reaches 67 cm. The phase of development is "wax ripeness".
In the West Kazakhstan region, the condition of spring wheat around the Peremetnoye agropost of the Bayterek district is satisfactory. Phase of development "wax ripeness", plant height 35 cm.
In the Aktobe region, the condition of spring wheat is good and satisfactory, weeds are common. The height of the plants reaches 68 cm, the development phase is "milk" – "full ripeness".
In the Zhetysu region, the condition of spring wheat is everywhere good, the phase of development is "dairy" - "wax ripeness". The height of the plants reaches 62-66 cm .
In the East Kazakhstan, Abai and Kostanay regions, the observed sunflower plots have a phase of "flowering" - "maturation", the condition of plants is everywhere good. The height of the plants reaches 125-167 cm . The average diameter of a sunflower basket is 10-27 cm .
In the Taskalinsky district (Kamenka station) of the West Kazakhstan region, the condition of sunflower crops is satisfactory, in some areas it is poor, the development phase is "maturation". The height of plants reaches 96-134 cm, weeds are common.
In the Pavlodar region (Coastal agropost), the condition of sunflower crops is satisfactory, the "flowering" phase of development continues. The height of the plants reaches 78 cm, the diameter of the sunflower basket reaches 7 cm.
In Almaty, Abai, Zhetysu, Aktobe, Karaganda and North Kazakhstan regions, the "end of flowering" phase - "wilting of the tops" is marked on potato plantings. Vegetative watering of potatoes continues. The condition of the plants is excellent and good.
In orchards with fruit crops (apple, pear, raspberry) in the south and south-east of the country, mainly the phase of development "formation" – "fruit ripening" is observed, the harvest of raspberries and apple trees continues.
In the first decade of August, cattle grazing was carried out everywhere. The condition of grass on pastures is mostly good, in some areas satisfactory, in the Shalkarsky district of Aktobe region (Begimbet station) the condition is bad. Grass harvesting for hay, hauling and stacking continues.
Pastures were poorly grazed, in some areas moderately, strongly grazed in Zhambyl district of Almaty region, in Akzhaik district of West Kazakhstan region and Arkalyk district of Kostanay region.
The condition of the sod is mostly dry, in the Karatal district of the Zhetysu region and the Shet district of the Karaganda region, the sod was wet.
