In the first decade of October, moderately warm weather was observed in the predominant territory of the grain-growing zone of Kazakhstan. Precipitation during 2-3 days somewhat delayed the completion of harvesting of spring grain crops in some areas in Aktobe, Kostanay, Karaganda, Ulytau and East Kazakhstan regions.
In the areas of winter wheat cultivation in the south and south-east of the republic, favorable conditions have developed for soil preparation and sowing operations.
On winter wheat crops in Almaty region (Uzynagash weather station), the phase "formation of nodal roots" is noted, in the vicinity of the Zhalanash and Aksengir weather stations, winter wheat sowing is noted, in Zhambyl region (Kordai agropost) "grain germination".
The condition of heat-loving crops (corn for grain, soybeans, cotton) is excellent and good. Soybean harvesting continues.
In Abai, East Kazakhstan and Kostanay, sunflower harvesting has begun in the observed areas.
In orchards with fruit crops (apple, pear, raspberry) in the southern regions of the republic, the "autumn leaf flowering" phase is mainly observed. The poor condition of fruit trees was observed in apple orchards around the Saudakent stations of the Sarysu district of the Zhambyl region, in the rest of the observed areas it was good and satisfactory.
In the areas of pastoral livestock grazing was carried out everywhere. Harvesting, hauling and stacking of herbs in the west, southwest and center continues. In Suzak district of Turkestan region and Ulytau district of Karaganda region, animals are being driven.
The condition of the grass on the pastures is mostly good, in some satisfactory. Pastures are poorly grazed, in some areas moderately grazed. Pastures in Irgiz and Kobdinsky districts of Aktobe region, in Moyinkum and Shuisky districts of Zhambyl region, in Shetsky district of Karaganda region and Mangistau district of Mangistau region are not strained, they are strongly strained in Zhambyl district of Almaty region, in Talas district of Zhambyl region and in Akzhaiksky district of West Kazakhstan region.
