In the third decade of October, moderately warm weather was observed in the predominant territory of the grain-growing zone of Kazakhstan. Precipitation within 4-7 days delayed the completion of harvesting of spring grain crops in certain areas in Aktobe, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Abai and East Kazakhstan regions. Such meteorological conditions were favorable for the growth and development of winter wheat.
On winter wheat crops in Almaty region, the phase "shoots"-"tillering" is marked, in Zhambyl and Zhetysu regions "grain germination" - "shoots", in Turkestan region "grain germination". The condition of crops everywhere is excellent and good.
The condition of heat-loving crops (corn for grain) is good. In the Almaty region (Shelek weather station), corn harvesting has begun.
In the Abai, East Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions, the "harvest ripeness" phase is observed in the observed areas, sunflower harvesting continues in some areas, the condition of the crops is good.
In orchards with fruit crops (apple, pear, raspberry) in the southern regions of the republic, the "autumn leaf flowering" and "leaf fall" phase mainly continues. The condition of the fruit trees in the observed areas is good.
In the areas of pastoral livestock grazing was carried out everywhere. Harvesting, hauling and stacking of herbs in the west continues. Animal transportation continues in the Suzak district of Turkestan region.
The condition of grass on pastures is mostly satisfactory, on some pastures it is good. Pastures are moderately grazed, in some areas weakly grazed. Pastures in the Moyinkum and Shuisky districts of Zhambyl region are not grazed, they are strongly grazed in the Zhambyl district of Almaty region, in the Talas district of Zhambyl region and in the Akzhaiksky district of West Kazakhstan region. Raw sod was observed on a larger area of pasture animal husbandry, dry sod was observed on some pastures in the Mangystau and Turkestan regions.
