Winter according to the calendar

In the coming days, precipitation (rain, snow) is expected in most of Kazakhstan under the influence of the depression of an active Atlantic cyclone and associated atmospheric frontal sections, on December 03 in the northwest and north, on December 03-04 in the east, on December 04 in mountainous areas of the south-east of the country, heavy precipitation is expected. Along with heavy precipitation, icy phenomena and a snowstorm are expected in the northern half of the republic. The wind is forecast to increase to 15-29 m/s and fogs in the republic.
By the beginning of the week, an invasion of cold air masses associated with a spur of the Northwestern anticyclone is expected, which will cause a sharp drop in temperatures in most of Kazakhstan. Thus, in the north-west and north, a decrease to 7-21 frost is expected at night, and in the center and east of the republic to 5-15 frost. In the southern regions, there is a slight decrease to 0-5 frost.
