In the third ten days of November in the south and southeast of the republic, in areas where winter crops are cultivated, the temperature background was mostly above normal, precipitation fell near normal, and in some areas more than normal.
On winter wheat crops in Almaty, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, the “sprouting” - “3rd leaf” phase is observed; on late sowing crops, “grain germination” and “emergence of shoots” were mainly observed. The condition of the crops is good everywhere, excellent in some areas, plant height is 4-11 cm. Snow cover is mostly absent. The minimum soil temperature at the depth of the tillering node of winter wheat was up to plus 2°C in the Turkestan region (Shymkent, Kazygurt stations); soil freezing was not observed.
In gardens in the southern regions of the republic, fruit trees (apple and pear) continued to lose leaves almost everywhere. The condition of fruit trees in the observed areas is good.
In areas of pastoral livestock farming, grazing was carried out everywhere; in the Kurmangazinsky district of the Atyrau region and in the Mangistau district of the Mangistau region, the delivery of feed and feeding of livestock continues; in the Suzak district of the Turkestan region, the transhumance of animals continues.
The condition of the grass on pastures is generally satisfactory, in some pastures it is good. Pastures are moderately overgrazed, and in some areas slightly overgrazed. They are heavily hunted in the Zhambyl district of the Almaty region, in the Talas district of the Zhambyl region and in the Syrym district of the West Kazakhstan region.
The condition of the turf is mostly damp and dry; at the end of the decade, frozen turf was noted on pastures in the Atyrau region (Karabau and Novy Ushtogan stations), Karaganda (Bektauata station) and Kostanay (Ekiden station) regions.
