According to the advisory forecast, in the second and third decades of January 2024, frequent changes in weather conditions are expected in most of Kazakhstan, frosty days will be replaced by thaws, during which the passage of cyclones and atmospheric fronts increases and as a result snowfalls (precipitation in the southern half of the Republic of Kazakhstan), blizzards. And when the air masses change, icy phenomena and fogs are observed.
Several heat waves are predicted: in the northern half and in the east of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the temperature will rise to -3-13°C at night, to -5+5°C in the afternoon; in the southern half and in the west of the Republic of Kazakhstan at night to -5+5°C, in the afternoon to +5+15 °C.
