Unstable weather is expected in most of Kazakhstan

In the coming days, under the influence of the trough of an active Atlantic cyclone and associated atmospheric frontal sections, snow is expected in most of Kazakhstan, and precipitation in the form of rain and snow in the southern regions. On January 06, heavy snow is expected in the northwest, heavy precipitation in the form of rain and snow in the south, on January 07-08, heavy snow is expected in the northwest, north and center. Along with heavy precipitation, ice and snowstorm are expected in the northern half of the republic. Fogs and increased winds are expected in the republic.
Due to the invasion of cold air masses associated with the spur of the Northwestern anticyclone, which will cause a sharp drop in temperatures in the west, northwest, north and east of the country. Thus, in the west and northwest, a decrease to 8-25 frost is expected at night, in the north to 5-30 frost, and in the east of the republic to 5-18 frost. In the southern regions, the main background of night temperature is expected to be in the range of 5 frost-7 heat.
