Arctic cold weather in Kazakhstan

The synoptic situation in Kazakhstan will be caused by a cold and snowless Arctic anticyclone. With which frosts persist, snow is expected only in the south-east of the country on February 17, with the passage of atmospheric fronts, in mountainous areas – heavy snow, fog, ice and a grass-roots blizzard.   
The temperature background in the northern and eastern regions of the republic is expected to be 30-38 at night, 20-28 frost in the afternoon. In the south-east of the country, it is expected to drop to 15-25 at night, 30-35 frost in the mountains, and 10-25 frost in the afternoon.
