Weekly hydrological forecast for the period from March 23 to March 29, 2024

According to the synoptic forecast, unstable weather is expected in most of the territory of Kazakhstan in the period March 23-29, 2024. Rain, fog, and increased wind are forecast. Heavy rains are expected on March 26 in the west of Kazakhstan (West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions), March 26-27 in the northwest (Aktobe and Kostanay regions), March 23, 26-28 in the south of the republic (Turkestan region), March 28-29 in the southeast of the country (Zhambyl, Almaty, Zhetisu region).
A significant increase in air temperature is expected in almost the entire territory of Kazakhstan.
In case of sudden changes in hydrological and meteorological conditions, Kazhydromet will notify storm warnings about the risks of flood threats in advance.
