Kazhydromet took part in training on water resources management in Central Asia

From May 13 to 16, 2024, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (German Society for International Cooperation), within the framework of the GIZ Regional Program "Water Resources Management in Central Asia taking into account climate impacts", conducted a training course in Munich, Germany, for specialists from Central Asian countries.
The main purpose of the training trip is to increase the capacity of specialists of National hydrometeorological services and water management services of Central Asia in the field of integrated water resources management, taking into account climatic effects, in the field of surface and groundwater quality, experts shared their experience in forecasting and warning floods, retention and conservation of flood waters for further use.
As part of the trip, the specialists visited the international exhibition "IFAT 2024" in Munich, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry of the State of Bavaria, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Consumer Protection of the State of Bavaria.
