Kazhydromet specialists have completed an international training course on the use of weather forecasting methods

From April 16 to 29, 2024, the Chinese Meteorological Administration (CMA) conducted the 13th International Training Course on the Application of Current Weather Forecasting Methods for early Warning of many Dangerous Phenomena. The training course was attended by representatives of meteorological services from 20 regions of Asia, Africa and Latin America, as well as small island developing States.
The purpose of the courses is to improve the knowledge and skills of meteorologists in the field of weather forecasting in order to improve the quality and timeliness of warnings about dangerous weather events. The program included theoretical lectures and practical classes on advanced methods of meteorological analysis and forecasting.
The training course facilitated the exchange of experience and knowledge among international participants, which, in turn, strengthens global cooperation in the field of meteorology and early warning of natural disasters.
