The drought forecast for June was released by Kazhydromet

In general, in June 2024, humidification in Kazakhstan is mainly expected to be close to long-term values.
Atmospheric drought is expected:
in Kostanay region in Amangelda and Dzhangelda districts;
in Mangistau region in Mangistau and Karakiyan districts;
in the West Kazakhstan region in the Kaztalovsky district;
In the Karaganda region in the Shetsky district.
Moderately humid in June is expected in the Katon-Karagai district of the East Kazakhstan region, in the Uspensky district of the Pavlodar region and in the city of Pavlodar.
In the rest of the country, humidification conditions are expected to be close to normal for this month.
