Rains are forecast in the west

Precipitation will take place in most of the republic, with the passage of atmospheric fronts: on October 17, heavy precipitation in the form of rain and snow in the south-east in mountainous areas; rains are forecast in the western regions, heavy rains on October 18, in the afternoon with a thunderstorm. Only the northern regions of the country will continue to be affected by a cold anticyclone, which will keep the weather without precipitation and cause an increase in air temperature.
Wind strengthening is expected in the republic, fog at night and in the morning, and ice in mountainous areas.
