A brief agrometeorological review for the 1st decade of November 2024

Winter wheat is being sown in the south-east of the republic, and sowing has begun in the south of the country. In Almaty and Zhetysu regions, there is a phase of development of "shoots", in the vicinity of the Taldykorgan meteorological station of Zhetysu region "3rd leaf". The condition of the plants is excellent and good.
In the Zhambyl region, on the observed plots of winter wheat in the vicinity of the Kordai agropost and the Sarykemir weather station, the "3rd leaf" development phase is noted, the condition of the plants is good and excellent. In the vicinity of the Asa, Nurlykent, Merke weather station, winter wheat sowing began at the beginning of the decade, and at the end of the decade, the "grain germination" phase of development was observed.  The quality of the work is good.
In the vicinity of the Ekpendy agropost, the Kazygurt and Shymkent weather stations of the Turkestan region, after preliminary tillage, winter wheat sowing began at the beginning of the decade, and at the end of the decade, the "grain germination" phase of development was observed. The quality of the work is good.
In most of the territory of distilling livestock, pastures are moderately grazed, in some pastures in Aktobe and Turkestan regions there is weak grazing, pastures in Moyinkum and Shusky districts of Zhambyl region, Mangistau district of Mangystau region are not grazed, pastures in Zhambyl district of Almaty region, Talas district of Zhambyl region, in Aktogay district of Karaganda region are strongly grazed. Raw sod is observed in most pastures, dry sod is observed in some pastures in the northwest, southeast and south, frozen sod is observed in some pastures in the Karaganda and Ulytau regions.
Due to the precipitation, the reserves of productive moisture in the soil were optimal in the south and south-east, with the exception of some areas, which has a positive effect on the emergence of seedlings and the initial growth of winter crops.
