Reserves of productive soil moisture before going into winter

According to the results of a route survey conducted in October-November 2024 in most of the north and south-east of Kazakhstan, satisfactory and optimal moisture is noted in the meter-high soil layer. In the west and the flat part of the east, moisture reserves are mostly low.
Reserves of productive soil moisture in Aktobe, Akmola, Karaganda, Abai and Turkestan regions in autumn 2024 are lower than in the same period in 2023. In the rest of the grain-growing regions, moisture reserves were distributed in general similar to last year.
