A meeting was held today at Kazhydromet RSE with the participation of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP on financing projects to preserve the ecosystem of Lake Balkhash

Today, a working meeting was held at the Republican State Enterprise Kazhydromet with the participation of representatives of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP. During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues related to the financing and implementation of projects aimed at preserving the sustainable ecosystem of Lake Balkhash.
The meeting discussed the current situation with the hydraulic posts around the lake and in its catchment area. Their characteristics, observation methods, and monitoring results were reviewed.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue close cooperation to implement sustainable environmental initiatives and develop proposals for obtaining funding for further research and projects aimed at protecting the region's water resources.
