Today, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the VIII convocation Aidarbek Asanuly Kozhanazarov visited Kazhydromet. During the visit, the deputy got acquainted with the work of hydrologists and the process of forecasting floods, and also visited the hydrometeorological center.
Kazhydromet's specialists provided a detailed overview of the methods and technologies used to make hydrological forecasts, including snow cover analysis, monitoring of water bodies, and the use of digital models. Special attention was paid to hydrological forecasts for the high water period.
