From May 1 to September 30, RSE Kazhydromet monitors the mudflow hazard of rain genesis in the mountainous territory of Kazakhstan. A bulletin of the mudflow hazard of rain genesis for the mountainous territory is issued daily. In case of occurrence of mudflow-forming factors, short- and ultra-short-term forecasts of the mudflow hazard of rain genesis and storm warnings will be given. The information is provided to government authorized bodies and the public through mailing lists and an online portal, and it is also available on the website of RSE Kazhydromet.
