RSE Kazhydromet conducted an excursion for participants of the C5+O.N.E. international program.

As part of the visit of the participants of the international C5+O.N.E. (Opening Networks through English) program, a study tour was held at Kazhydromet RSE.
The C5+O.N.E. program, organized by the American Councils for International Education, aims to develop a network of English-speaking Central Asian professionals working in the fields of economics, energy and ecology, as well as to strengthen regional and international relations.
During the tour, the participants got acquainted with the activities of the Hydrometeorological Center, where experts spoke about the processes of making weather forecasts, the climate monitoring system and the use of modern technologies in hydrometeorology.
The guests also visited the museum of the history of the Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan, where they learned about the development of Kazhydromet and its role in ensuring the environmental safety of the country.
Of particular interest was a visit to the environmental monitoring laboratory, where sampling and analysis of atmospheric air and water are carried out. Representatives of the program noted the high level of technical equipment of the laboratories and the professionalism of the company's specialists.
