Today, Kazhydromet hosted a press conference for media representatives dedicated to the advisory weather forecast for the winter period of 2025-2026, as well as for March 2026.
The speakers of the event were:
• Marina Schmidt — Director of the Hydrometeorological Center;
• Zhuldyz Isabekova — Head of the Department of Long-term Weather Forecasts.
During the press conference, experts presented a preliminary forecast of the development of weather conditions in Kazakhstan. According to the advisory forecast, the upcoming winter is expected to be moderately warm, with precipitation within the climatic norm. At the same time, experts stressed that there may be some periods with heavy precipitation, snowstorms, increased winds, ice and fog.
Detailed data and forecast updates will be posted on the official resources of RSE Kazhydromet in a timely manner and will continue to inform the population about further updates to forecasts and the development of weather conditions in the country.
